Hi friends!
Today we have a very special and refreshing edition, as our July guest has chosen to share mostly DJ sets in her very discoesque selection 🪩💃
This month’s Guest Selector is:
Wera
Wera is a Polish DJ and music selector with a deep passion for music developing since her childhood. Growing up in the countryside in the 1990s, she explored music through the internet, P2P networks, and niche radios like Overfitting Disco and Intergalactic FM. Drawn to ’70s and ’80s disco, new wave, and early electronics, she built a vinyl collection that fuels her DJ sets across Europe. Her performances weave genres and decades.

Enjoy her cosmic picks for the month:
Outsiders: Average Radio - Tom Bolas & MLiR (Kiosk Radio, 2022)
#Rock #Funk #Disco
Wera: This show, led by Tom Bolas (Average Records) and MLiR (Magic Teapot Records) is a real gem. Tom kicks things off with German oddities and dreamy ’70s rock—some once even censored! The second hour by MLiR brings a sunny mix of exotic grooves, all perfectly curated. It’s a playful, eclectic ride I can’t stop replaying. Honestly, I might be their number one fan.
The Sunset Lovers #56 - Mike Burns (Mike Burns, 2023)
#Downtempo #House #Balearic
Wera: One of my favorite DJs, Mike Burns is a real treat for anyone chasing a good groove. His mixes flow through house, breakbeat, and dub, with cosmic surprises along the way—and his technical skills make it all sound smooth and seamless. Top-notch!
Disco Dance 13 - jussi kantonen (jussi kantonen, 2019)
#Disco #Rare Groove #Rock
Wera: Jussi Kantonen is like a walking encyclopedia of disco—he lived, danced, and thrived during its golden era. His sets are wild journeys through the ‘70s, often filled with stuff you’ve likely never heard before. It’s always a masterclass in deep digging and pure groove.
Mixantiq-24… - LOUD-E (LOUD-E, 2025)
#Disco
Wera: No disco journey is complete without the legendary Loud-E. This Dutch artist is loved far and wide for good reason—his incredible technique and flawless blends light up every dancefloor. With a playful mix of cosmic grooves, disco treasures.
E≠mc² - Marek Biliński (Polton, 1984)
#Synth-pop #Disco
Wera: Finishing this list is Marek Biliński, a key figure in early Polish electronic music who simply can’t be overlooked. His dreamy, downtempo compositions transport listeners to misty, forested landscapes, evoking a uniquely atmospheric side of Poland. Yet his catalogue also features energetic, rhythm-driven tracks that show his range and creativity. A true pioneer—and one of my personal favorites.
That’s all for this week. I hope you enjoyed the selections.
Have a great weekend!
Stay groovy,
Dudier
