For this session, I wanted to delight Miles with a non-electronic selection, specifically from my beloved musical country, Brazil. My intention was to share my favorite Brazilian grooves, not focusing on genre but rather on taking you on a journey through how I feel this music in my mind. These tracks really move me, starting slower with legends like Azymuth and Wayne Shorter, and finishing with highly emotive pieces by the likes of Sandra de Sá and Jorge Ben Jor.
Tomorrow I’ll be playing uplifting disco, boogie, and house music at my favorite place, Berlin Club, alongside two of Madrid’s finest, Nacho Larache and Hector Mingues. I hope some of you can stop by and dance!
