Hi friends!
It’s hard to believe, but it’s been almost a year since I started recording these Sessions, showcasing the talent, taste, and skills of 10 incredible DJs from the Madrid’s scene.
Sadly, the time has come to wrap up (or maybe just pause—who knows?) this wonderful chapter of More Music, Less Words. The truth is, each Session post takes me around 8 hours to put together, and with things going well lately, I find myself too busy to keep recording. On top of that, while many of you enjoy these sessions, the stats from Substack and the surveys I sent last month show they aren’t as popular as our Guest Selections or my usual selections—both of which I’ll continue delivering consistently (and for free) every Friday.
As a farewell to this great adventure, I’m proud that the final session truly embodies the soul of More Music, Less Words. As you may have noticed, I share albums spanning many genres—some dance-oriented, some not—but in the end, it’s all about jazz…
This month's session is led by ggaldeano aka Dj Undisputed 🥇
ggaldeano, a full-time digger and selector, is the mind behind Aprenda Alemán en 7 Días on Radio Relativa. This time, he brings us a session strictly for the true jazz heads—a flawless selection of gems from past and present. But he also states: “if jazz wasn’t your thing before, say goodbye to that feeling, because after this hour-long journey, it just might become your new favorite genre.”

Miles had a bittersweet look this time—finally, a full jazz DJ set, but is this really the end? Kicking things off with the beauty of top-tier Japanese jazz fusion (Kylyn, my favorite album by guitarist Kazumi Watanabe), our undisputed selector set the groove for what was to come. The highlights? Watching ggaldeano reach pure ecstasy on camera, lost in the magic of Na Boca Do Sol by our beloved Arthur Verocai, Spirits by the godfather of rap Gil Scott-Heron, and the grand finale—John Coltrane’s A Love Supreme, the greatest jazz album of all time. In these moments, nothing else matters—just music, pure joy, and the spirit of jazz in its truest form.

That was all for this week. I hope you liked the session :D
Stay groovy,
